"During freshmen year, everybody at school had a future to plan for. I did not have that privilege to have a plan; instead, I was too busy trying to help my father put food on the table. Being the oldest of four children, I had to be a leader in the house while my father worked long hours trying to earn money. I found a job and I worked twenty hours a week. I feel my greatest accomplishment is the role I have played within my own family. I am able to set an example for my younger siblings and help a struggling family remain on their feet."
